# Check your API usage

Blockstream Explorer API allows you to check your analytics and usage, which may be useful for keeping track of your requests and gaining insights of your usage patterns.

In the **Overview** page you can see a summary of your active plan and the API credits remaining for your current billing period.

If you need more detailed information, go to the **Analytics** page in the left-side navigation panel.

In this page you will see for the current billing period your available API credits (updated in real time) and the current number of API requests in aggregate and broken down by API key. The values displayed are for the current billing period, so each month these values reset. We are planning to expand the usage information displayed including historical data in a future release. 

If you want information about historical usage, navigate **Settings** → **Payment** and click on the **Invoices** tab. Here you will see all past billing periods with fee, payment method and status of the invoice.
