# Set up the Basic Kit receiver

The Basic Kit's satellite receiver (TBS5927) processes the signals received by your satellite antenna and outputs that data in a format that can be used by your [Bitcoin node](https://glossary.blockstream.com/bitcoin-node/). 

## Basic Kit Receiver Setup

1.

Connect the coaxial cable from the LNB to the TBS5927 USB device’s coaxial connector.

2.

Connect the included USB cable to the TBS5927.

3.

Connect the AC adapter to the TBS5927 and power outlet.

4.

Connect the USB cable from the TBS5927 to your computer.
