# Set up the Pro Kit receiver

The Pro Kit's satellite receiver (Novra S400) processes the signals received by your satellite antenna and outputs that data in a format that can be used by your [Bitcoin node](https://glossary.blockstream.com/bitcoin-node/). 

## Pro Kit Receiver Setup

1.

Connect the coaxial cable from the LNB to the **RF1** port on the back of the S400 unit.

2.

Connect an Ethernet cable to the **LAN 1** port on the back of the S400.

3.

Connect the AC adapter to the S400 and a power outlet.

4.

Connect the Ethernet cable from the S400 to your laptop’s Ethernet port or Ethernet adapter.

> **Tip:** You can also connect the Ethernet cable from the S400 to your router and provide Bitcoin [blockchain](https://glossary.blockstream.com/blockchain/) data to all the devices on your local network. However, this requires an advanced setup—we'll have a separate guide available for this soon!
